Do you like my new background? I like it- it represents me in so many ways. I love daisies, scrapbooking, and the color blue. Let me know what you think.
From my family to yours, Merry Christmas! For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ~Isaiah 9:6 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. ~Luke 2:11
I am trying so hard to "decorate" my blog for Christmas but to no avail. I have no idea how to change the background colors or anything. I found a neat header I want to use but it just doesn't go with the white background I currently have. Anyone who is willing to help me, I would greatly appreciate it!
Jenn had this posted and I thought it was a cute way to get to know TJ and me better. 1. Who is your man? TJ 2. How long have you been together? Total 9 ½ years, married 8 3. How long did you date? 1 year and 4 months 4. How old is your man? 32 5. Who eats more? Unfortunately I do 6. Who said “I love you” first? He definitely did. I think. 7. Who is taller? I am by an inch 8. Who sings better? He definitely does! He sounds a lot like Travis Tritt, and I often encourage him to join our church’s choir, but to no avail. 9. Who is smarter? We both have our strengths. I am much more knowledgeable about history and English (i.e. grammar), and we’re equally talented in math and science. 10. Whose temper is worse? Hands down. . . me. His temper debuts while driving, mine in pretty much everything else. 11. Who does the laundry? That’s a sore subject! I do the laundry and I HATE it! He’ll help but I usually have to ask. 12. Who takes out the trash? He does, unless I see it needs to be done whi...
I finished transferring all of my old posts over from the other website. Transferring them allowed me to see God's blessings in my life. Some of my favorites are listed below: Carole The Season of My Life Get Growing! Be Strong, Like a Tree I hope you read all of them, not just those listed above. The Lord has definitely reminded me of His presence in my life over the past few months as I re-read my old posts, and I'm thankful for that.
I have added some more posts dated from May. Re-reading them helped make me much more aware of the Lord's involvement in my life, and more thankful for it. I mean, it's easy to see God when things are going good; it's when a person is knee-deep in muck that faith comes into question. May wasn't too long ago yet it's easy to forget the blessings, especially if I'm not paying attention. I think re-reading my older posts has helped me to really see that I am not alone in my motherhood journey, even though so often it seems that way. It makes me think of the familiar "Footprints in the Sand" poem. One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many time...
Thanks to Carole who instructed me on how to do it, I am adding my posts from my old blog over to this one. Click on "Older Posts" to read about the past few months. I am adding a few at a time, so please be patient. Blessings, T
I am moving to Blogspot because I can more easily control who reads my blog. I am not too sure how to transfer my old posts over to here, so for now, bear with me.
